Nos terroirs sont sacrés

La fierté de notre domaine réside dans l’emplacement de notre vignoble.
Actuellement, nous consacrons une grande partie de notre travail à l’entretien et à la valorisation des vignes. Comme Mas Conscience produit du vin biologique et végétalien depuis plus de 10 ans, nous sommes particulièrement soucieux de sa préservation.

Aniane

It is in the commune of Aniane that we find a terroir of semi-sloping clay and limestone scree with the presence of beautiful rolled pebbles.

Vines of Syrah and Grenache over 30 years old (3.5 ha) and vines of Cinsault over 20 years old (2 ha) form the heart of our great reds.

 

 

Puéchabon

Our most recent vineyards are located in the commune of Puéchabon, next to the plots of the area's most renowned winemakers. In Occitan, Puèg-Abon means "high site" - a lacustrine limestone plateau with limestone pebbles.

Very old Cinsault vines (1.5 ha) and Vermentino vines (1 ha) form the basis of our highly successful CIEUX and TAPADE wines.

Saint-Jean-de-Fos

In the commune of Saint-Jean-de-Fos, on an alluvial soil with the presence of rolled pebbles close to the Hérault river, we still have 7 ha of our vineyards.

The white grape varieties of Roussanne, Viognier, Grenache Blanc and the rare Petit Manseng are spread over 2 hectares. They are complemented by vines of Carignan over 50 years old (1 ha), Grenache (1.5 ha), Mourvèdre (1 ha) and Syrah (1.5 ha).

Organic Viticulture

Organic viticulture has a long tradition at Mas Conscience. For more than 10 years, the estate's former owners have worked in this way out of deep conviction.

We will continue to develop this approach in harmony with nature. For the vines, the wines and for our descendants!
